City of Falls Church (CoFC) is planning to undertake the construction of a commercial facility in Falls Church, Virginia, the US.

In September 2014, RTKL presented four options for the development of the project site to CoFC:

The first option includes the construction of commercial space on 4.2ha of land, a new six-story high school, and a parking structure.

The second option includes the construction of a five-story high school building at the hard corner of Broad & Shreve on 0.7ha of land, a new track and football stadium will be built between the new school building and the existing school and commercial space on 4.2ha of land.

The third option involves the construction of a four-story school building to the west of the existing school on 1ha of land and commercial space on 4.3ha of land.

The fourth option includes the construction of a four-story school building on 1.6ha of land, wrapped around by the existing school on three sides.

On February 13, 2015, a request for proposal (RFP) has been issued for appointing a developer to build the project on a public-private partnership (PPP) basis, with the submission end date as March 27, 2015. Later on, the RFP was canceled.

On July 30, 2015, Request for Conceptual Proposals (RFP) was issued on October 30, 2015, as the submission deadline.

On April 13, 2016, Request for Detailed Proposals (RFDP) was issued on July 13, 2016, as the submission deadline.

In November 2017, a $120 million bond referendum was approved by voters to build the new high school.

A council meeting is scheduled to be held on January 22, 2018, to consider a land-use plan for the site.

CoFC is in the process of seeking a developer for the project.
