On July 4, 2013, the project received regulatory approvals and licenses from the Department of Planning and Environment.

In 2014, Heron conducted a small drilling program on the project.

On March 13, 2015, the first phase drilling program was successfully completed.

In April 2015, the second phase drilling program was commenced.

On April 22, 2015, the Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) study on the project has been completed.

June 2, 2015, the complete PEA report was released on the project.

On November 14, 2015, the second phase drilling program was successfully completed.

On April 28, 2016, a modification to the previous approval granted by the Department of Planning and Environment were made.

In June 2016, the feasibility study on the project completed.

In October 2016, the front-end engineering design (FEED) works commenced.

In May 2017, Sedgman Limited was appointed as the EPC contractor and the contract value is US$80 million.

Ertech has been appointed as earth work contractor for the project.

On August 31, 2017, groundbreaking ceremony was held and construction work commenced.

In February 2018, PYBAR Mining Services (PYBAR) has been appointed has Underground Mining contractor.

Construction works are underway and expected to complete by fourth quarter 2018.
