United States Naval Academy (USNA) is undertaking the construction of a cyber security training facility in Maryland, the US.

The project involves the construction of a six-story, 19,175m2 cyber security training facility. It includes the construction of training rooms, parking garage, office space, meeting rooms, laboratories, classrooms, lecture halls, an observatory, a rooftop multipurpose space, parking and other related facilities.

In December 2014, USNA secured funding from the federal government.

In April 2015, University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) and USNA signed an agreement to develop the project.

In September 2015, Microsoft has made a $1 million gift to the Naval Academy Foundation and USNA is in the process of securing further funds.

In April 2016, Turner Construction and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) were appointed as Design-Build team for the project. According to the contract, SOM responsible for Design works and Turner Construction for the Construction services.

In October 2016, a groundbreaking ceremony was held.

In November 2016, construction work commenced and scheduled to be completed by 2020.
